Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18, 2007, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pena, at 1:22 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Riddle; Escobar; Moreno, Paul; Talton (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the May 8, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
