Pursuant to a Notice posted on October 25, 2010, the House Committee on Redistricting's Subcommittee on Houston Redistricting met jointly in a Public Hearing with the House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence's Subcommittee on Houston Redistricting, together with the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting.

 

The House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence's Subcommittee on Houston Redistricting was called to order by its Chairwoman, Representative Woolley, at 10:03 a.m.

 

 

ROLL CALL

 

The Roll and called and was answered as follows:

 

Present:           Representative Woolley (Chairwoman); and

                        Representative Alonzo

                        TOTAL—2

 

Absent:            Representative Hughes

                        TOTAL—3

 

A Quorum of that particular Subcommittee was PRESENT.

The House Committee on Redistricting's Subcommittee on Houston Redistricting, was called to order by its Chairwoman, Representative Alvarado, likewise at 10:03 a.m.

The Senate Select Committee on Redistricting was called to order by its Chairman, Senator Seliger.  Senator Seliger addressed the joint Public Hearing.  Various Senate Committee members addressed the joint Public Hearing.

A Quorum of the House Committee on Redistricting's Subcommittee on Houston Redistricting was now PRESENT.

Representative Todd Hunter, Chairman of the full Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence, addressed the joint Public Hearing.

 

Representative Alonzo (a member of the joint Subcommittee) addressed the joint Public Hearing.

 

 

 

Representative Alvarado (a member of the joint Subcommittee) addressed the joint Public Hearing.
