Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and permission granted to meet while the house is in session on May 21, 2009, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 3:20 p.m.

Representative Phillips offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Phillips moved that SB 617, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
