Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18, 2011, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 3:52 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson; Hancock; Elkins; Farias; Harper-Brown; Marquez; Orr; and Scott.

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Thompson moved that the floor amendments to HB 559, HB 787, HB 1649, HB 1859, and HB 2857 be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Thursday, April 21, 2011.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Larson moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House General Calendars Committee: HB 973, HB 2853, HB 3191.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Thompson moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB 713, HB 1119, HB 1120.  The motion prevailed without objection.
