Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 23, 2015, and permission granted on May 23, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 2:54 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Burrows; Romero, Jr.; Spitzer; and Tinderholt.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1908

 

The chair laid out SB 1908, the companion to HB 4098.

 

Representative Tinderholt moved that SB 1908, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Coleman; Burrows; Romero, Jr.; Spitzer; Tinderholt (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Farias; Schubert; Stickland; Wu (4).

 

At 2:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
