Pursuant to a notice posted on May 4, 2015, the House Committee on Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Parker, at 9:33 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Parker; Longoria; Capriglione; Flynn; Pickett; and Stephenson.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1282.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Flynn moved that SB 1282, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
