Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1, 2015, and permission granted on May 1, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 11:31 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Burkett; Capriglione; Dale; Gonzales, Larry; Isaac; Nevárez; and Springer.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

Representative Gonzales, Larry moved that the floor amendments to HB 239 offered by Rep. Isaac, HB 516 offered by Rep. Moody, HB 735 offered by Rep. Isaac, HB 1621 offered by Rep. Greg Bonnen, HB 2299 offered by Rep. Riddle, HB 2424 offered by Rep. Senfronia Thompson, HB 2839 offered by Rep. Capriglione, HB 3618 offered by Rep. Isaac, and HB 3660 offered by Rep. Dutton be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Tuesday, May 5, 2015.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Nevárez moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House Calendars Committee: HB 234, HB 278, HB 284, HB 1208, HB 1285, HB 2241, HB 2346, HB 2624, HB 3090, HB 3131.  The motion prevailed without objection.
