Pursuant to a notice posted on May 21, 2015, the House Committee on Public Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Aycock, at 9:45 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Aycock; Allen; Bohac; Deshotel; Farney; Galindo; and Huberty.

The chair laid out SB 811 as pending business.

 

Representative Galindo moved that SB 811, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
