Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 9, 2015, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 2:16 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Giddings; Craddick; Geren; Harless; Huberty; Kuempel; and Turner, Sylvester.

HB 3123

 

The chair laid out HB 3123 as pending business.

 

Representative Geren moved that HB 3123, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
