Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 12, 2015, and permission granted on May 12, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Alvarado, at 6:19 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Alvarado; Anderson, Rodney; Bernal; Elkins; Schaefer; and White, Molly.

The chair laid out SB 837.

 

Representative Elkins offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
