Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out SB 1522 and recognized the author, Senator Estes, to explain the bill.

 

No persons registered or testified on the bill. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator West moved that SB 1522 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 3 absent.

 

Senator West moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

The chair laid out HCR 43 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Campbell, to explain the bill.

 

No persons registered or testified on the bill. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator Campbell moved that HCR 43 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 3 absent.

 

Senator Campbell moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

The chair laid out SCR 31 and recognized Senator West, in the absence of the author, to explain the bill.

Senator West moved that SCR 31 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 3 absent.

 

Senator West moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.
