The chair called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out as a matter of pending business SB 1582.

 

Senator Taylor, Van, moved to reconsider the vote by which the committee substitute for SB 1582 was taken; without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Taylor, Van, moved to withdraw committee substitute to SB 1582 which was considered at a previous hearing; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator Taylor, Van, sent up a new committee substitute; the chair recognized Senator Taylor, Van, to explain the difference between the committee substitute and the senate bill as filed. Senator Taylor, Van, moved adoption of the committee substitute; without objection, it was so ordered.
