Co-chair Senator Brian Birdwell called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The following members arrived after the roll was called: Senator Eddie Lucio

Other members present: Senator Jose Rodriguez, Senator Sylvia Garcia, Representative Tony Dale

 

Representative Bonnen moved adoption of the committee rules. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

 

Witnesses providing invited testimony are shown on the attached list.

 

There being no further business, at 3:28 PM Senator Birdwell moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
