Pursuant to SCR 9 and HCR 56, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Government Facilities was held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair made brief remarks.

 

The committee heard invited testimony on deferred maintenance and new facilities. (Witnesses registering and testifying are shown on the attached list.)

 

There being no further business, at 11:41 AM Senator Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
