A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the use of the compensatory education allotment for a |
|
|
school district's school guidance and counseling program. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 42.152, Education Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (c-4) to read as follows: |
|
|
(c-4) Notwithstanding Subsection (c), funds allocated under |
|
|
this section may be used to fund a district's school guidance and |
|
|
counseling program under Subchapter A, Chapter 33. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
