Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 19, 2017, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, Sarah, at 11:46 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Davis, Sarah; Moody; Capriglione; Shine; and Turner.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 502.

 

The chair explained SB 502.

 

Representative Capriglione moved that SB 502, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Davis, Sarah; Moody; Capriglione; Shine; Turner (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Nevárez; Price (2).

 

At 11:48 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
