Pursuant to a notice posted on April 28, 2017, a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 1, 2017 and on May 2, 2017, and permission granted on May 3, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lozano, at 8:11 a.m.
