Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2017, and permission granted on May 3, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kuempel, at 3:00 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kuempel; Frullo; Geren; Goldman; and Herrero.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 133.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Herrero moved that HB 133, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
