Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21, 2017, and permission granted on May 21, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 4:37 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Clardy; Burkett; Collier; Dean; Frank; Landgraf; Longoria; Minjarez; and Simmons.

Thompson be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  The motion prevailed without objection.

Representative Clardy moved that the floor amendment to SB 814 offered by Representative Canales be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
