Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2017, and permission granted on March 21, 2017, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Frullo, at 2:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Frullo; Faircloth; Bonnen, Dennis; Fallon; Krause; and Martinez, "Mando".

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The committee first met for organizational purposes and heard testimony from the following industries: the oyster industry, the tourism industry, and the recreational boating industry.
