Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on August 2, 2017, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 1:09 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Cook; Craddick; Geren; Guillen; King, Ken; Kuempel; Meyer; Oliveira; Paddie; Rodriguez, Eddie; and Smithee.
