     The Committee will hold an organizational meeting and hear invited testimony concerning:

     1) an overview of the operations, facilities and programs of the state's corrections system and issues regarding improvements that may be needed; and

     2) an overview of the fiscal aspects of managing the state's corrections system and highlights in the pending appropriations Bill.

     The hearing will be open for observation by the public, however no public testimony will be received at this meeting.
