         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 22,  
         1999, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Barry  
         Telford at 12:23 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Telford; Brimer; Danburg; Dutton;  
                   McCall; Sadler; Siebert; Thompson; Turner, Sylvester  
                   (9). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Hilbert; Cuellar (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chair recognized Representative Siebert who moved to set  
         HB 2085 and SB 345  on the General Calendar for March 24,  
         1999.  Representative Sadler seconded the motion. The motion  
         prevailed by the following record vote: 
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Telford; Brimer; Danburg;  
                        Dutton; McCall; Sadler; Siebert; Thompson;  
                        Turner, Sylvester (9). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Hilbert; Cuellar (2). 
          
         At 12:25 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
