         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2001, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government, met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Heflin, at 2:07 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Heflin; Flores; Pickett (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Luna, Vilma; Puente (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 budget for  
         Articles I, VI, & VII. 
          
         (Representative Puente now present.)(Representative Luna, Vilma  
         now present.) 
          
         At 4:10 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
