         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 14, 2001, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory, met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Pitts, at 9:13 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Allen; King, Tracy (3). 
         Absent:   Representatives Hamric; Moreno, Paul (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
         The subcommittee met to discuss 2002-2003 budget for Article  
         VIII. 
          
         (Representative Hamric now present.) 
          
         At 10:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until adjournment of the House Floor,  
         February 15, 2001. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:23 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Pitts. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Hamric; King, Tracy (3). 
         Absent:   Representatives Allen; Moreno, Paul (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
         The subcommittee met to discuss 2002-2003 budget for Article  
         VIII. 
          
         At 11:45 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
