         in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting chair,  
         Representative Eiland, at 8:09 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Coleman; Eiland; Janek; Maxey (4). 
         Absent:   Representative Glaze (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:48 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:00 p.m., February 12, 2001. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:16 p.m. and was called to order by  
         Representative Eiland. The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Coleman; Eiland; Janek; Maxey (4). 
         Absent:   Representative Glaze (1).
