Pursuant to a notice posted on February 16, 2001, the House
Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to
order by the chair, Representative Danburg, at 2:19 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Danburg; Jones, Jesse; Denny; Gallego;
Hodge; Madden; Truitt; Wilson (8).
Absent: Representative Sadler (1).
A quorum was present.
SUBCOMMITTEE ON HB 672
The Chair announced the appointment of Representative Gallego to
the Subcommittee on HB 672.
The chair directed that the February 7, 2001, minutes for the
House Committee on Elections be corrected. The corrected minutes
were authorized without objection.
