CORRECTED MINUTES
On April 18, 2001, the House Committee on Elections authorized
the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House
Committee on Elections held on March 28, 2001. The following are
the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 23, 2001, the House
Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to
order by the chair, Representative Danburg, at 2:16 p.m.
The 5 day posing rule was suspended on March 26, 2001, for HB
3181. The posting was repeated for the bill to correct a
procedural error: the certified copy of HB 3181 was not in
possession of the Elections Committee on March 21, 2001, when
the bill was heard in a public hearing.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Danburg; Jones, Jesse; Denny; Hodge;
Madden; Truitt (6).
Absent: Representatives Gallego; Sadler; Wilson (3).
A quorum was present.
The chair directed committee staff to include on a witness list
the names of persons who filled out witness affirmation forms
but did not testify.
