Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 17,
2001, the House Committee on State, Federal & International
Relations met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the
chair, Representative Hunter, at 5:55 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Absent: Representatives Moreno, Paul; Elkins (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SCR 54.
Representative Najera moved that SCR 54, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Hunter; Berman; Chavez;
Madden; Miller; Najera; Raymond (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Moreno, Paul; Elkins (2).

The chair laid out SCR 63.
Representative Berman moved that SCR 63, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:

At 6:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
