         Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on April 17,  
         2001, the House Committee on Public Education, Subcommittee on  
         School Finance, met in a public hearing and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Hochberg, at 2:15 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hochberg; Grusendorf; Hardcastle (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Dunnam (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 5:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
