The House Committee on General Investigating will hold a meeting to
examine policies and procedures governing the Texas Department of Public
Safety's crime lab.  The meeting will involve a tour of the crime lab
facilities.

The Committee will first convene in the Crime Lab Conference Room, Bldg B
at the Texas Department of Public Safety Headquarters located at 5805
North Lamar Blvd. in Austin, Texas.  After convening, the Committee and all
attendees will proceed on a tour of the Crime Lab.

In order to protect the integrity of the Crime Lab, attendees may be asked
to register with the committee.

There will be no public testimony.
