         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2005,  
         the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Mowery, at 5:26 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Pickett; Blake;  
                    Leibowitz; Miller (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Cook, Robby; Escobar; Orr (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 2833 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2833. 
          
         Representative Mowery offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         (Representative Cook, Robby now present.) 
          
         Representative Mowery moved that HB 2833, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Pickett;  
                         Blake; Cook, Robby; Miller (6). 
          
         Nays:           Representative Leibowitz (1). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives Escobar; Orr  (2). 
          
         At 5:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
