Pursuant to a notice posted on June 30, 2005, the House
Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing
and was called to order by the chair, Representative Mowery, at
1:29 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Cook, Robby;
Leibowitz; Orr (5).
Absent: Representatives Pickett; Blake; Escobar; Miller (4).
A quorum was present.
HJR 19
The chair laid out HJR 19.
Representative Cook, Robby offered a complete committee
substitute.
The chair recognized Representative Corte to explain the
measure.

The chair recognized Representative Corte to close on the
measure.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Miller moved that HJR 19, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Mowery; Harper-Brown; Pickett;
Blake; Cook, Robby; Leibowitz; Miller; Orr (8).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Escobar (1).
At 3:42 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
