         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18,  
         2005, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the acting chair,  
         Representative Truitt, at 11:33 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Delisi; Truitt; Jackson, Jim;  
                    McReynolds; Zedler (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Laubenberg; Coleman; Dawson; Solis  
                    (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         (Representative Dawson now present.) 
          
         HB 1771 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1771. 
          
         Representative McReynolds offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative McReynolds moved that HB 1771, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Delisi; Truitt; Dawson; Jackson,  
                         Jim; McReynolds; Zedler (6). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 11:36 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
