         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 13,  
         2005, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative King, Phil, at 11:39 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Turner; Baxter  
                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Cook, Robby; Crabb; Hartnett (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Baxter moved to reconsider the vote by which SB  
         408 was reported.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Baxter moved to reconsider the vote by which the  
         committee substitute to SB 408 was adopted.  The motion to  
         reconsider prevailed without objection. 
          
         The committee substitute to SB 408 was withdrawn without  
         objection. 
          
         SB 408 
          
         The chair laid out SB 408 as pending business. 
          
         Representative King, Phil offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Hunter moved that SB 408, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives King, Phil; Hunter; Turner;  
                         Baxter (4). 
          
         Nays:           None (0). 
          
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0). 
          
         Absent:         Representatives Cook, Robby; Crabb; Hartnett   
                         (3). 
          
         At 11:42 a.m., on the motion of Representative Turner and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call  
         of the chair.
