Aaron Pena The House Select Committee on Emergency Preparedness will hear testimony from invited witnesses with expertise in hurricane preparedness, disaster response, and border security. Witness testimony will focus on local, state, and federal coordination regarding the mitigation of, response to and recovery from major emergencies resulting from natural and industrial disasters. The committee will also hear testimony regarding border security with emphasis on potential emergency scenarios and specific legislative recommendations.
