It is the intent of the Chair to hear testimony on HB 2279, HB 3676, HB 2234, HB 2837, HB 3287, and HB 2320 between 8:00AM to 10:00AM.  When the committee reconvenes upon adjournment or reading and referral of bills of the House, the committee will hear unfinished business from the morning, then bills HB 104, HB 790, HB 323, HB 1951, HB 1430, HB 1697, HB 364, HB 2147, HB 1725, HB 2665, HB 1690, HB 2135, and HB 3559.

Relating to motorcycle training and the license requirements for a three-wheeled motorcycle; creating an offense.

Relating to the operation of a vehicle by a person under 18 years of age.

Relating to authorizing home-taught driver education course providers to administer certain examinations required to obtain a driver's license.

HB 2837       Smithee                
Relating to the provision of home-taught driver education courses by state agencies.

Relating to driving safety courses for minors and adults.

Relating to establishing a pilot program for driver education schools to administer certain driver's license examinations; authorizing fees.

Relating to the repeal of the driver responsibility program.

Relating to the repeal of the driver responsibility program.

Relating to reports to the legislature on certain administrative hearings regarding the automatic suspension of a person's driver's license.

Relating to the licensing and regulation of telecommunicators; providing a criminal penalty.

Relating to the employment of certain peace officers, detention officers, county jailers, or firefighters who are injured in the course and scope of duty.

Relating to the provision of state death benefits to certain employees of the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas.

Relating to the carrying of concealed handguns by certain county officers and  employees in a courthouse.

Relating to the procedures to modify employment termination reports for law enforcement officers.

HB 2665       Taylor, Van            
Relating to the use of a concealed handgun license as valid proof of personal identification.

HB 1690       Fletcher               
Relating to measures to prevent or control the entry into or spread in this state of certain communicable diseases; providing a penalty.

HB 2135       Cortez                 
Relating to the issuance by reciprocity of certain private security licenses to individuals who hold security credentials from the United States armed forces.

HB 3559       Pickett                
Relating to the Texas Peace Officers' Memorial.
