Relating to consideration of asbestos or silica trust claims in certain actions asserting asbestos- or silica-related injuries.

Relating to the availability and use of certain evidence in connection with an award of exemplary damages.

Relating to establishing an interstate voter registration crosscheck program.

Relating to the designation of the trustee of an express trust as a beneficiary of a trust account or a P.O.D. payee of a P.O.D. account.

Relating to reducing certain fees for a license to carry a concealed handgun for county jailers.

Relating to authorizing certain first responders to carry a concealed handgun while on duty and to the prosecution of certain related offenses; providing for a fee.

SB 1791       Ellis
Relating to disclosures on selection or modification of an account by a customer of a financial institution.

SB 1792       Ellis
Relating to access to a financial institution account of a person who dies intestate.

SB 1939       Huffman
Relating to contributions to, benefits from, and the administration of systems and programs administered by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.

SJR 52        Campbell
Proposing a constitutional amendment repealing the requirement that state officers elected by voters statewide reside in the state capital.

At the Chair's discretion, the committee may also consider pending business.

 

Public testimony will be limited to 3 minutes. If submitting written testimony, please provide 20 copies to the committee clerk with your name on each.
