Pursuant to a notice posted on October 4, 2019, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at 4:03 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Phil; Turner, Chris; Cole; Krause; Leach; Leman; Moody; Price; and Rose.

The committee met at Del Mar College Center for Economic Development (CED), Room 106 located at 3209 South Staples Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78411.

 

 

Representative Morrison, Representative Hunter, Representative Lozano were also in attendance.

 

 

Interim Field Hearing on 2021 Redistricting

 

The committee heard invited testimony and received a presentation from the Texas State Demographer and Texas Legislative Council.
