Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 15, 2019, and permission granted on April 15, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phelan, at 5:23 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phelan; Hernandez; Deshotel; Guerra; Harless; Holland; Hunter; King, Phil; Parker; Raymond; Smithee; and Springer.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the April 8, 2019 minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
