Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 7, 2019, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Button, at 12:17 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Button; Shaheen; González, Jessica; Goodwin; Middleton; Morales; Patterson; and Swanson.

The chair laid out SB 849, the Senate companion to HB 984.

 

Representative Patterson moved that SB 849, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Representative Morales moved that SB 958, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
