Relating to the authority of the commissioners court of a county to employ attorneys as mental health public defenders and to the reimbursement of an attorney who represents an indigent proposed patient in certain mental health proceedings.

SB 1370        Nichols
Relating to invoices and payments under certain state contracts for outside legal services.

SB 1691        Fallon                 
Relating to expedited processing of certain applications for a license to carry a handgun; waiving a fee.

SB 1840        Hinojosa               
Relating to the assistance and technology fund and use of money in the fund.

SB 1928        Fallon                 
Relating to a certificate of merit in certain actions against certain licensed or registered professionals.

SB 2373        Hughes | et al.         
Relating to a cause of action for political or religious censorship of speech by a social media website.

SCR 1          Creighton | et al.      
Claiming sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to halt and reverse certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Public testimony will be limited to 2 minutes. If submitting written

testimony, please provide 20 copies to the committee clerk with your name
