The Senate adopted the following resolutions:

Recognizing the McLennan Community College Dance Team for winning two Championship titles.

Instructing the enrolling clerk of the house to make corrections in H.B. No. 1314.

The Senate concurred in House amendments to the following:

Proposing a constitutional amendment requiring the denial of bail under certain circumstances to persons accused of certain offenses punishable as a felony.

Relating to an increase in the amount of the exemption of residence homesteads from ad valorem taxation by a school district and the protection of school districts against certain losses in local revenue.

Relating to the planning for, interconnection and operation of, and costs related to providing service for certain electrical loads.

Relating to the confinement or release of defendants before trial or sentencing, including regulating charitable bail organizations, and the conditions of and procedures for setting bail and reviewing bail decisions.

Relating to an increase in the amount of the exemption from ad valorem taxation by a school district of the appraised value of the residence homestead of a person who is elderly or disabled and the protection of school districts against certain losses in local revenue.

Relating to the use by a political subdivision of public funds to pay bail bonds; authorizing injunctive relief.

The Senate refused to concur in House amendments and requested the appointment of a Conference Committee on the following:

Relating to a school district's library materials and catalog, the establishment of local school library advisory councils, and parental rights regarding public school library catalogs and access by the parent's child to library materials.

Relating to size and density requirements for residential lots in certain municipalities; authorizing a fee.

Relating to recovery of health care-related damages in certain civil actions.

Relating to the procedure for certain complaints against health care practitioners.

Relating to the disclosure of health care cost information by certain health care facilities; imposing an administrative penalty.

Relating to authorizing certain municipalities to change the date on which their general election for officers is held.

Relating to the regulation of certain nursing facilities, including licensing requirements and Medicaid participation and reimbursement requirements.

Relating to special education in public schools, including funding for special education under the Foundation School Program.

Relating to requiring the use of electronically readable information to verify a purchaser's age in the retail sale of alcoholic beverages.

Relating to standard permits for certain concrete plants.

Relating to maintaining the confidentiality of the personal information of election officials and their employees.

Relating to the strong families credit against certain taxes for entities that contribute to certain organizations.

Relating to a prohibition on marketing, advertising, or selling certain e-cigarette products; creating a criminal offense.

Relating to the regulation of the provision of proxy advisory services.

Relating to a study on the feasibility of integrating early voting by personal appearance and election day voting, including the manner in which election returns are processed and other related changes.

Relating to a review of certain advisory entities under the jurisdiction of the comptroller of public accounts and to the repeal or redesignation of certain of those entities.

Relating to expressive activities at public institutions of higher education.

Relating to the preservation, maintenance, restoration, and protection of the Alamo complex and surrounding area by the Alamo Commission.

The Senate granted the request for the appointment of a Conference Committee on the following:

Relating to the assessment of public school students, public school accountability and actions, and proceedings challenging the operations of the public school system.

Relating to risk mitigation planning and associated liability for providers of electric service; providing an administrative penalty.

Relating to ineligibility to serve as a poll watcher.

Relating to declination, cancellation, or nonrenewal of insurance policies.

Relating to the eligibility of certain individuals younger than 65 years of age to purchase Medicare supplement benefit plans.

Relating to allowing the governing bodies of certain political subdivisions to call for a local option election relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Relating to municipal and county hotel occupancy taxes and the authority of certain municipalities to receive certain tax revenue derived from a hotel and convention center project and to pledge certain tax revenue for the payment of obligations related to the project; authorizing the imposition of taxes.

Relating to cancellation of certain solid waste disposal permits issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Relating to prohibiting certain personal services performed by school district administrators; providing a civil penalty.

Relating to the construction of structures exceeding a certain height in certain counties containing national wildlife refuges and in adjacent counties; authorizing injunctive relief.

Relating to an emergency preparedness and contingency operations plan, including temperature regulation, for assisted living facility residents during an emergency; providing penalties.

Relating to the duty of the attorney general to prosecute criminal offenses prescribed by the election laws of this state.
