Pursuant to a notice posted on March 4, 2025, and permission granted on March 6, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Appropriations - S/C on Article III met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kitzman, at 8:01 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kitzman; Martinez; Fairly; Goodwin; Lopez, Janie; and Tepper.

A quorum was present.

(Representative Simmons now present.)

The Subcommittee on Article III met to consider House budget recommendations for Article III, higher education.

At 9:11 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon final adjourn./recess or bill referral if permission granted.

The committee reconvened at 11:52 a.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kitzman.

The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kitzman; Martinez; Goodwin; and Tepper.

A quorum was present.

(Representative Fairly now present.)

At 3:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
