Pursuant to a notice posted on October 1, 2025, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Guillen, at 2:10 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Guillen; Kitzman; Lopez, Janie; and McLaughlin.

A quorum was not present.

The chair made a motion to continue hearing despite lack of quorum.

The motion was adopted without objection.

The Chair made opening remarks.

The committee heard invited testimony on New World Screwworm.

At 6:58 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
