CORRECTED MINUTES

On May 9, 2025, the House Committee on Corrections authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Corrections held on April 23, 2025. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

Pursuant to a notice posted on April 22, 2025, the House Committee on Corrections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harless, at 9:03 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harless; Jones, Venton; Allen; Harrison; Lowe; Meza; Schatzline; and Wharton.

A quorum was present.

HB 1482

The chair laid out HB 1482.

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee. 

The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

The chair moved that HB 1482, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
