Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2025, and permission granted on February 27, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Darby, at 11:00 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Darby; Morales, Eddie; Dean; Dyson; Garcia, Josey; Gates; Gerdes; Guerra; and Reynolds.

The committee met for organizational purposes and heard updates from the state agencies and subject matters under its jurisdiction.
