Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21, 2025, and permission granted on May 21, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Wilson, at 3:33 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Wilson; Lalani; Lambert; Shaheen; Shofner; Tinderholt; and VanDeaver.

A quorum was present.

The chair directed that the May 6, 2025 minutes for the House Committee on Higher Education be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

At 3:34 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
