Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 14, 2025, and permission granted on May 14, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Leach, at 2:00 p.m.

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which SB 1559 was reported from committee. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
