Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2025, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gates, at 12:52 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gates; Lalani; Alders; Davis, Yvonne; Hunter; Lopez, Ray; Morgan; and Virdell.

A quorum was present.

HB 1930

The chair laid out HB 1930 as pending business.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

The chair moved that HB 1930, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Gates; Lalani; Davis, Yvonne; Hunter; Lopez, Ray (5).

Nays:                           Representatives Alders; Morgan; Virdell (3).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative Hinojosa (1).

HB 2015

The chair laid out HB 2015 as pending business.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

The chair moved that HB 2015, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Gates; Lalani; Alders; Davis, Yvonne; Hunter; Lopez, Ray; Morgan; Virdell (8).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative Hinojosa (1).

At 12:54 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
